Our Story

Thiti was founded in Bangkok with a straightforward conviction: that people dealing with pension matters deserve legal support that is transparent, measured, and genuinely focused on their wellbeing. Pension disputes and claims can be confusing and stressful, and we saw a need for a practice that would take the time to explain things properly and move at a pace the client is comfortable with.

Our work covers three stages of a pension matter. We begin with an initial assessment — a focused meeting where we listen carefully, explain what we observe, and outline the realistic options without any pressure to proceed. For clients who wish to take a formal step, we offer thorough submission support, managing the documentation and correspondence with care and keeping clients informed throughout. Where a matter is more involved, we provide continuous representation from the first document to any formal proceedings.

What distinguishes our approach is the priority we give to communication. Legal processes can feel opaque; we work to change that for each person we work with. Clients leave meetings with a clear picture of where they stand, what their options involve, and what happens next.

Our Mission

To provide pension protection legal services that are clear, respectful, and suited to the individual — giving each client the information and representation they need without adding to the pressure they already face.

We listen first

Every engagement begins with careful listening. We do not assume we know the answer before we understand the situation.

We explain clearly

Legal terminology is translated into plain language so clients can follow what is happening and make informed decisions.

We follow the client's pace

There is no urgency imposed from our side. Clients decide when and whether to proceed, supported by what they have learned.

Document Accuracy Review

Every submission is reviewed by a second member of the team before it is lodged, reducing the chance of factual or procedural errors that could delay a matter.

Transparent Fee Agreements

Fees are agreed in writing before any work begins. We do not add charges that have not been discussed and agreed with the client in advance.

Conflict of Interest Checks

Before accepting a new matter, we check for potential conflicts of interest to ensure our advice remains impartial and solely in the client's interest.

Ongoing Case Updates

Clients receive updates at each meaningful stage of their matter, not just when they ask. We believe in proactive communication rather than leaving clients to chase information.

Pension Law Expertise in Bangkok

Pension entitlement matters in Thailand are governed by a framework of legislation that includes the Social Security Act and the Government Pension Fund Act, alongside provisions that affect private sector employees and public servants differently. Understanding which regulations apply to a specific situation requires careful reading of the relevant statutes and, in many cases, familiarity with how those statutes have been interpreted in practice.

At Thiti, our work centres on helping clients understand what they are entitled to and, where that entitlement has not been properly recognised, supporting them through the formal processes available to correct this. This may involve reviewing how contributions have been recorded, examining the basis of a decision to reduce or deny a benefit, or preparing an objection through the appropriate administrative channel.

Clients come to us from across Bangkok and the surrounding area. Some have recently retired and encountered an unexpected shortfall in the pension they were expecting. Others have received formal notices they do not fully understand, or have been informed that a claim has been declined. Whatever the starting point, our approach is the same: to understand the situation thoroughly, explain the legal position honestly, and identify what, if anything, can be done.

We do not make claims about outcomes, because pension matters involve decisions made by authorities over which we have no control. What we can do is ensure that your position is put forward clearly, accurately, and with appropriate legal support — so that the relevant authority has a well-prepared submission or objection to consider.
